A NON-CONVERTED CATHOLIC IS A CATHOLIC IN DANGER

We are in a state of emergency; the secular world continues to be ultimately against Christian principles and those who practice and live according to their Faith. Indeed, today’s generation is under attack by pure evil embodied by the Culture of Death with its gender ideology, atheism, and relativism; our children are in danger. In the last few years, an increasing number of parents tell me “Noel my son/daughter does not believe in God. We took him/her to Church as a child, but he/she does not want anything to do with God”. Other parents explain, achingly, that their child is confused about their gender identity and are allegedly living “in the wrong body”.
In public schools, children are being indoctrinated and misguided by the Culture of Death; even very young kids are being taught these things. And if the parents fail to do something about it, these children could easily live a confused life and worse lose any sense of Faith; growing apart from God.

The conversion of the hearts is now more urgent than ever

How can we tackle this war and make sure that we are not dragged along by this rampant river of Death that has already swept away millions and threatens to take away many more?
The title of this letter is purposeful, A NON-CONVERTED CATHOLIC IS A CATHOLIC IN DANGER! What do I mean by this? When Jesus appeared in history, the people were in a tremendous crisis. The Apostle John, the youngest, describes what happened at the arrival of the Lord; read John 1:1-14.

John describes the reality experienced by the people at that time and in that place. He presents the key to avoid being dragged away by Death. First, John describes who Jesus is; He is the Word of God. He is with God and existed before the Creation of the world. And all things were created by Him.

Jesus is the Life and Light of Humankind. And the Light shone in the darkness. However, His people did not receive Him. For when Jesus came and spoke about the Kingdom of God and explained where He came from and who had sent Him, thousands would listen, but the crowds split in two. Part of the crowd rejected Him and did not allow the Light and Life to penetrate their lives; we may say that their hearts hardened, turned into stone, and were therefore dragged by the darkness unto Death in a raging river that engulfed their daily life.

This is also true today. Jesus is presented as Good Tidings, God’s Word, and Life itself. But Billions reject the Light of Life; therefore putting their lives at risk of Death. They risk not only physical death, but the most terrible of deaths, Eternal Death; living forevermore away from God. That is also called a living Hell! I insist, a non-converted Catholic is a Catholic in danger of losing what is really important in his/her life, Jesus.

I chose the word Catholic because I am addressing the Church’s family. However, you may argue that you are not Catholic. And I tell you that this applies to all humankind regardless of their beliefs. Those who do not accept Jesus, who are unwilling to have a conversion, an Encounter with Him, with the Light have succumb to Death, the walking dead.

Conversion of heart is a leap of humility; to acknowledge the Merciful Love of God, who forgives us and offers Salvation so that we are not pushed along by the flow of Death but unto Life. This is the reason and mission assigned to Jesus by the Heavenly Father to saves us from a never-ending Death of heart, mind and soul. If we do not let the Light into our lives and our families, we are putting ourselves and our children in tremendous danger of Death. It is clear that this world is determined to misguide our generation with all kinds of strategies that perpetuate Death. As a result, we see so much violence in the world, so many innocents killed in nonsensical wars over power. Addictions and so many other traps laid by Satan, the father of deceit and the prince of darkness, who aims at dragging us away from the Light with confusion.

Anyone who is not willing to approach Jesus and be transformed by His Love is truly heading towards the deadly abyss. Today more than ever, we must pray faithfully for our beloved and others so that “no one perishes, but everyone comes to repentance”. (2 Peter 3:9)

Watchful and asking for the Grace of final perseverance

The other part of the crowd were the ones who accepted Jesus, opened to the Light and were declared His children by the Father, meaning that they are on The Way of Salvation, and have found the Light of Life. If you are part of this group, you should stay alert and keep close to Jesus. For you have an enemy seeking to drag you away from God, distract you with many activities, often appearing good, so that you don’t have time to do God’s things like attending the Mass, praying, reading and reflecting on the Bible, serving others, and using your talents generously for the Church. I encourage you to keep fighting the good battle as St. Paul told Timothy “you then, my son, be strong in the Grace that is in Christ Jesus”. (2 Timothy 2:1). We will prevail if we remain united with Him. Let us ask the Lord in prayer for the Grace of final perseverance and the Blessed Virgin Mary, who really wants Salvation of her children, for her maternal intercession through the Holy Rosary.

I hope you encourage any young members of your family to take part in the next CDJ, Youth Congress, on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd. The faith, values and purity of the youth are under attack more than ever; they need to Encounter Jesus so that they can meet, follow, and love Him. This is the only way for them to overcome the tempestuous worldly streaming of Death that is stalking them at every turn.

I pray for you and your family so that no one gets lost in the darkness. I hope that this message will move your heart as if Jesus Himself knocked on your heart’s door and ask you to come to Him. He will receive you with open arms. He said “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the Light of Life”. (John 8: 12)
